Our Story

Michel Bérichon, President & Training System Specialist at JOMIJEAN TSI, offers a background of 30+ years in military aerospace training.

Following his formal aircraft maintenance training, his career progressed from aircraft instrumentation technician, flight simulator technician/instructor, to Flight Engineer and Instructor.  Michel then began a second career as a civilian consultant responsible for the design and delivery of complex aerospace training programs.  A trusted instructor, he has trained pilots, flight engineers and technicians, using aircrafts and simulation devices.

Evolving his career at General Dynamics for over 15 years, he began as a training analyst responsible for teaching the technicians about repair, maintenance and operation of the CP 140 Aurora surveillance equipment suite.   Adhering to the CFITES process, the canadian military version of the ADDIE process, he also developed interactive learning programs, using simulators and real equipment.  Recognized as a leader and training development expert, he was quickly promoted to manage and lead the General Dynamics Canada's Air and Naval Training Programs.

In 2014, he was recruted by Canada's leading Flight Simulator company, CAE Inc, to lead the design, development and delivery of the CH147F Chinook MHLH training program for the RCAF's Aircraft Captains, First Officers, Flight Engineers, Lead Masters and Door Gunners. He was awarded the Bravo Zulu award from CAE's Military Group President for having delivered that program on time and within budget and most importantly, to the customer's satisfaction.

Michel is currently providing training design, development and delivery services for the RCAF CP140 AIMP Block 4 upgrade and the United Kingdom MOD Evolve to Open (Evo) programs.
